The Racing in a Box comprises 1 package of 8 Race karts.  Each package contains all you need to set up your very own Green MotorSport racing series powered from renewables in a shipping container.

B) A Complete Turnkey Solution for Karting Operators -Air cooled AC Rental Karts

The Turnkey Solution package comprises one package of 16 AC Rental Karts and chargers packaged in a shipping container.

The Concept

The unique feature of this brand new concept is that it provides everything an operator needs to set up a Green MotorSport Kart Racing facility. Green MotorSport Ltd can manage all aspects of creating the desired circuit. Once the operator decides from the options available exactly what facilities will be offered at the new Karting Centre Green Motorsport Ltd will assemble the complete package and deliver everything needed in a single container.

There is no pollution.  Electric Kart Racing from Green MotorSport provides the only all green option for modern environmentally friendly racing in the modern world.  It provides the only kart racing facility that can be run indoors without affecting other users or neighbours. It can also be set up in holiday centres and other retreats where the noise, dirt and pollution from traditional kart racing could not be tolerated.

Driver Progression

Many of the current Formula One drivers learned their skills driving karts, but the overall costs of developing a racing career even at this level can be very expensive using traditional petrol powered karts. The new era of electric karting removes many of the constraints.

The Turnkey Options

Choices for operators will include decisions about the design and delivery of the track, the karts, the support equipment, maintenance and servicing. Green MotorSport offers a wide range of options designed to meet the requirements of any operator regardless of size and aspirations.  The options described below are mix and match. Delivery of the racing facility comes in two parts. First the track and accommodation have to be prepared, then everything else that has been selected from the options available will be delivered in a single container.

The container will hold up to 20 Karts with all supporting equipment, maintenance and servicing, including charging equipment, control centre equipment and safety clothing and equipment.

The Track

We have a number of standard track designs from which a layout can be selected. Alternatively we can arrange for a track to be designed to fit your special requirements. Delivery of the chosen track option would include full assessment of the requirements, then full discussions on the options leading to an agreed final design. Green MotorSport Ltd has associates who can deliver every aspect of the final design if that is required. Safety equipment is an integral part of track design and Green MotorSport can deliver whatever configuration is specified. Accommodation for customers, staff and garaging needs careful consideration, and Green MotorSport can advise, but delivery of these facilities rests with the operator.

Operations issues

Training is required to ensure correct operation of the speed control systems and proper and safe use of recharging facilities. This training is not onerous, but every member of staff should be competent on operating every aspect of the facility relevant to their role. Initial training for operating charging systems, speed control systems and basic maintenance will be supplied by Green MotorSport as part of the package. Further training can be supplied by negotiation.

Safety

In many ways there are fewer dangers for customers and operators using electric karts.  A traditional karting venue uses toxic engine fuel. This produces noise and toxic smoke harmful to human health. Recent studies have revealed a link between these fuels and Leukemia in humans. Nevertheless, on all such installations there are safety issues which will need to be addressed by training for all staff involved in operating any equipment or dealing with customers. The operator will need to be certain that all safety equipment is in place on the circuit and that all staff are familiar with its use. Green Motor Sport Ltd will advise on the safety features to be included, but it is for the operator to ensure that installed safety features meet local safety regulations.

Protective Clothing

Fire is not a risk using these karts, so fireproof clothing is not required. We recommend that overalls be worn together with gloves and helmets, and these can be supplied as part of the package to suit all usual sizes.

Economics

The economics of any venue will vary according to the overheads and operating costs of the site, but the potential for return on investment can be seen with the following simple illustration

Assume a site has 15 Karts and an hourly charge of £25. If the karts only achieve 4 full hours usage per day and then for only one third of a year or less, say 100 days, then the gross income would be £25 x 4 x 15 x 100   = £150,000 Although Green MotorSport Ltd can not make recommendations as to the tariffs offered by the operator, inspection of traditional operator’s tariffs could provide useful indications.

Caution

The economics of running an electric Karting venue will depend on the operating style and marketing skills of the operator. Green MotorSport Ltd can make no promises as to economic viability of any venture. Revenue could be seasonal, and could be influenced by the location of the venue and access to the target customer base. It is for the operator to conduct whatever market research is felt necessary as well as seeking advice from appropriate quarters.

Licences

The licence to operate under the Green MotorSport banner is included in the cost of equipment for the first year. Thereafter there will be a charge based on the size of the facility and the service available.

Powering the Green MotorSport System using Green MotorSport power systems is necessary for the warrantee of the karts and longevity of systems as it provides reliable constant renewable power off grid. This is a must at any Green MotorSport event and for any Green MotorSport system supplied.
